Remote Viewing Media-Politics |
| I'd
planned to make a media page, and then a politics page.
But there's no separating the two in this field. First, often media becomes politics. For instance in "The past didn't happen," Ed Dames made bold RV-claims about Martians at a public conference in 1993, and a number of articles from different journalists in different publications printed it way back then, some with transcribed interviews with Dames. Then in 1996 when someone dug that up and pointed it out (to those shrinking from Ed's prophecies of doom), Ed claimed he NEVER said that... and the whole situation became political, spawning emails, BBS posts, insults flinging all over the place, and got so nasty it ended up inspiring two of the original journalists involved to do an entire issue of their current newsletter on remote viewing and Ed Dames. On the other hand, politics often become media, such as when competitive personal vendettas get broadcast in "press releases" featured on high volume web sites in half a dozen different places, on the public BBS's of uninvolved parties, in national media, and so on. So, there was no dividing line in some cases, and 'media' and 'politics' got stuck together. Online Censorship : Recreating the Past?
